At Billy’s Pools, we’re here to help you keep pool care simple and stress-free. In this quick training post, we’ll walk you through how to adjust the chlorine dosage on your pool pump—a task that sounds technical but only takes a minute to master.

To begin, locate your pump’s control panel and hold the menu button for three seconds to access the settings. Navigate down one click to “Dosing” and hit Enter. From there, enter the first timer selection (in our case, Timer 11).

Scroll down until you reach “ml dose,” which controls how many milliliters of chlorine are dispensed into your pool. Hit Enter to begin editing the value. Our example starts at 300 mL. To increase it to 370 mL, we adjust the tens digit to 7 and leave the others unchanged.

Once the correct dose is entered, hit Enter again to save. Exit by pressing Escape twice and holding it for three seconds to return to the home screen. That’s it—you’ve successfully updated your chlorine dosage!
